Annual Cobosseecantee Maine Trip
Another great trip. we had a few people back out but as always we had a great time.
The 1st night it was windy and just stopped raining. My buddy and i cruised to the Northern end to see what we could find out of the wind. We found a quiet cove that is sometime not accessible unless the water level is high enough. So i started throwing my Boag Hog Jig and got slammed on a nice lone piece of wood. We had a decent night to start the weekend.
The next day was real windy as well. I threw a jerk-bait most of the time.Scoring a smallies with a pike in the mix.
I realized most of the fish were scattered and in a staging position so i had the best results throwing a boag hog tube jig/bhb jig and jerkbait in 5-8' water. My buddies like to throw senkos and found some nice fish as well on isolated cover.
I didn't add all the photos but we averaged 20+ fish a day. I can't wait to go back. I hope to try a different lake next time.
