Winter Island Salem Ma Description
Winter Island in Salem is a good all-around saltwater fishing area, with beach, rocks, and pier locations available. Can catch bass, bluefish and flounder in surrounding waters. There is a large parking lot, boat ramp and trails around the area with access to lots of coastline. Last time I went the fee for access was 5 dollars, but the price could have gone up. This is to park with or without a boat. Good shore fishing spot, great when schools of bluefish arrive. Located directly next to the Salem Power Plant and water treatment facilities.
