Whitehall is stocked annually with trout, and the best trout fishing is during the months of April and May. Other gamefish present in good numbers are largemouth bass and chain pickerel. Panfish are common with good sized yellow perch and bluegills providing plenty of action and good table quality. Ice fishing for perch and pickerel is reputed to be excellent here.
