Fishing:
Both East and West Monponsett Ponds offer good to excellent fishing for largemouth bass and are popular bass tournament sites. Panfishing for white perch and sunfish is also good. Heavy recreational use during the summer months by water skiers and jet skis limit the best fishing times to morning or evening hours. Other nearby ponds include Burrrage Ponds in Hanson and Halifax, Robbins Pond in East Bridgewater and Furnace and Oldham Ponds in Pembroke.
