bedlem Blackstone Canal at the Blackstone canal and Heritage State Park here in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
There is a good school of them though it is rare to see the orange ones anymore, most breed out the color so the predators dun pick em off.
wgpjim i never seen any of these caught, but i seen some nice size bright yellow fish out on my boat, kinda look like bight orange carp..... am i seeing the same fish yu have here? if so how big do they get cause the ones i seen close up where easily 8-9 lbs

Jim, if they are that big then probably not. This is a goldfish, member of the minnow family, same family of carp but the world record for them is about 6 pounds.
Chances are what you saw were carp or koi which are just fancy carp :) They look similar but carp have barbels on their mouths and get much larger.
