Manchester Pond Resevoir is a public drinking water supply for the town of Attleboro. It hosts a 0.3 mile long Dam that runs adjacent to the Southwesterly side of the Lake. Construction was completed in 1963. It is owned by the City Of Attleboro.
Manchester Pond Reservoir Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its length is 1510 feet. Its capacity is 4210 acre feet. Normal storage is 3000 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.7 square miles. It hosts a large variety of fish including Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Chain Pickerel, and even Bullhead Catfish. There are no boats allowed on the Lake, as it is a drinking water supply. Please treat this location with respect, as local Police do take notice to this location frequently. Fishing allowed in selected locations for Attleboro residents only with city permit.
