Lake Lashaway is a 293-acre warm water pond located in North Brookfield north of Route 9. The water is brown in color with a transparency of ten feet. The average depth is ten feet with a maximum of 18 feet. The shoreline is 90% developed with year round homes and cottages. Boat access is available through a paved ramp at the north end of the pond off of Harrington Street. Shore access is limited to the area adjacent to the ramp and along Route 9. Fish Populations: largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, yellow perch, white perch, black crappie, bluegill, pumpkinseed, brown bullhead, yellow bullhead, golden shiner, white sucker, and northern pike.
Lake Lashaway is a 293-acre (1.19 km2) pond located near the East Brookfield and North Brookfield, Massachusetts town line. The town line cuts the lake approximately in half. The lake lies just to the north of state Route 9 as it passes through East Brookfield.
