Kill Two Bird With One Stone!!! Except, It Is Bass!!!

I was originally set out to practice my skills on dropshot. Since I am suck so bad with this technique. I took my canoe and went to one of local ponds.

I couldn't believe how this pond was overgrown with weeds from shore to middle of pond! I used to swim up to middle of pond. But now, look like I wont go swim forever or unless someone clean this up! I went snorkeling there at last year, very clean pond! But now, big confirm NO, its not anymore!

Anyway, I practiced with drop shot from what I learned from partner on my Deaf Bass Tournament qualifier. I couldn't feel anything except weeds. So, I put on 3/4 oz sinker. so I can get feeling better on my hook. Caught several bass but I wasn't satisfy with myself on this. So I switched to 1 oz sinker. Huge difference for me! could felt all of bites from lighter to heavy bite! then I realized that my bass rod is not strong enough for fast pull when bass bite. I switched to saltwater rod and put on my bass reel on it. then continue fishing with drop shot. It worked as great as I expect them to be. Lost no bass when they attacked dropshot! I feel so confidence with this technique now.

Then, I got bored with drop shot, I switched with tubes, texas-rigged craw, poppers, and crankbait. Caught more bass on them!

The two big story that I have to say it. I bought one crankbait that look like yellow perch. (I cannot believe how good it was look like) However, when i cast it and using for several casts. my line went frayed and tangled! Plus, this crankbait actually can't dive! I can work it like wakebait and it seem effective on this lure. So, i continue fishing until caught 1 bass on it. I gave up because my line gone so bad that it exploded when I cast it. Have picture of this lure. If you want this kind of lure, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!! Have picture of it.

Second story, when I was using drop shot. I felt two huge hit. I set up the hook! YES!! hook up really good!!! It was totally huge bass! even I don't seen the bass surface yet! I was very carefully controlled bass to my canoe. Oh BUMMER! it wasn't big bass! BUT I WAS SUPER EXCITING BIG TIME!!! BECAUSE IT WAS TWO BASS ON ONE HOOK!!!!! I couldn't believe it at all. even now, I still can't believe it could managed hooked both bass! I went to my friend's dock and showed him that I caught two bass on one hook! he couldn't believed it too. But it was great day!! Have picture to prove it!!!

Total 121 bass for the evening fishing. all bass caught on five lures.
