Haven't fished here in years. It's gotten very weedy over the years.
I remember the bluegill being so easy to catch here. You could literally catch them with cigarette butts when we were kids. A lot of people would not practice catch and release back in those days, so a lot of the fish got eaten.
I would regularly catch largemouth bass, catfish, and sunfish here. May need a boat to get past all the new vegetation as the shoreline looks very swampy these days.
Sunfish can be caught on nearly anything... Tiny bits of bread, worms, etc. Great place for a kid to learn to love fishing.
