Yak Trip at The Nip

As long as the weather isn't to horrible Saturday morning I'm gonna do another yak voyage down The Nip. Any and all are welcome to join me. I'll be at the Cartopper Access on Chace Road sometime between 5:30-6:00 depending on Ma Natures Wrath .

Not sure if I posted this one or not. Caught Saturday morning on a split back rebel. This one almost took my fingers off. I could not find my pliers and was about to reach into his gaping maw to retrieve my lure when he shook again the lure came out and he was gone.

I'm gonna take the rain gear with me and give it a try, the winds not supposed to be to bad early.I'll be at Chace Road 5:30ish hopefully be able to fish until 9 or 10.

Fished 6-9 no rain,perfect breeze for drifting but i only caught a bunch of 10-12 inch bass, maybe 2 keepers, not a good day!

Yeah, the rain surprisingly held off. The bite was off for whatever reason. Fished 2 ponds only a couple of small bass.

I slept late. Working a full time and part time job sometimes catches up with you. I'm watching the weather for tomorrow but it doesn't look good.
