Hi,

Anyone ever fish here ?

I have been going to Puffer Pond in the Refuge next door, and just noticed that there is this "bigger" Pond right next door to it.

Was wondering if worth a side trip to it ?

Besides the fishing, how is the access ?
Place to park, etc. ?

Thanks,
Bob

I've fished it. Yeah, it's worth a trip. There's a small parking lot. Access is fine.

Are there any bass in Puffer?

Yeah, I haven't found it yet. We have a kayak Tourney there later this year. Maybe we can set up a side pool for anyone who finds the piano!

Hi,

Well, there sure was last year.
Something very different this year; absolutely miserable fishing.

Last year, you could truly always get some Crappie, and Large and Smallmouth Bass.

Hardly anything so far there; not even Crappie.

Something very different.
Water temp., or... ?

Will have to give Willis Pond a try, but will have to be from
the small dock there, as no boat.
Have never tried Willis Pond.
Too bad the Dock isn't in the main section of the Pond.

I live in town and I might fish it once a year. There are too many better bodies of water west of Boston. It's pretty much a shoreline pounders pond. Yuck!
