I hate August, I find it to be THE worst month of the fishing year
I hit a pond on tuesday and got 14 bass in 1.5 hours, all nice fish biggest was 3.5 lbs. then the bite just quit. when I got home looked up the solunar tables and found I had unknowingly hit the sweet spot of the best day of the month. I don't remember august being that bad but lucky me. those tables don't always work but sometimes they are spot on.
