I believe the Beaver pond in Hopedale you speak of is actually in Bellingham off of Hartford ave fished there quite a bit when I was a kid caught one of my largest bass there.
I've always wanted to try to fish at the Bellingham Beaver Pond as well, but from looking at the maps there doesn't seem to be an obvious place to put a canoe in. Any tips?
Have to go through Varney bros construction site there is a sign that tells you were to go if you go during business hours so you don't get in there way place is hard to fish from shore and gets real weedy in the summer so there are some real big bass in there good luck love that place!
