I joined bass resource this morning and I've gotta say it's a solid forum. Do any of you guys use BR, and if you do, what do you think about it?

Good info but the moderators and senior members are quick to push the advertisers products

I have learned everything I know about fishing from bassresource. The guys on there are some of the nicest people I've ever met. One guy took me on his nitro to great herring pond. I caught my first smallie and that will be a memory I will never forget. I've learned so much just reading everything on the forums and articles. You can ask any question and have a reply from someone that has been fishing longer than I've been alive. Some of the older guys can be a little sarcastic and not want to answer questions that have been asked a million times. And the flea market is awesome I got my favorite reel from it. I love it others may not.

I'll read the articles for tips and tricks here and there. Best I get out of it is the Flukemaster on youtube.

That guy knows everything there is to know about Bass fishing. Some really good tips on rigs, type of fishing, seasonal fishing, etc. Look him up on youtube if you haven't

Only draw back is that he fishes in North Carolina. Naturally a bit warmer longer into the fall and early spring, but the tips are all useful no matter where you fish.

Love that site. Agree with all the others. Have only been seriously into fishing the past couple of years, and I have to say, my catch rate has climbed as I read more and more articles and tips.

Good site, but it's tough reading their articles. They need to put line breaks between their paragraphs.

Petty complaint, I know. Haha.

Love bassresource, great articles, good layout, far more friendly than this forum TBH. People are more helpful rather than responding with "learn on your own"
