What exactly do bass feed on around here? I know they eat pretty much anything but what is there main source of food?

is it shad?
bluegills?
crawfish?
other?

I caught a bass yesterday that had a type of crayfish claw sticking out of his throat that i've never seen before. The lake is mostly a muck bottom; lots of weeds and lily pads everywhere. Usually I find crayfish in the clear, rocky lakes/ponds. That being said, I've been having good luck with the Rebel Crawfish orange/brown colored.

the domonite forage in most lakes are bluegill, goldan shiners, and crawfish. if you look at the lake studys, thegoldan shiners are the most abundent in the lakes.
