So the temps look like they're going to be reasonable the next couple of days but the wind's going to be a bear. I really need to get the yak out on some water and was thinking that the rivers might be a better bet than the ponds right now, mostly because the trees will serve as a wind break. The rivers are probably also a bit warmer too. Any thoughts?
Yeah, I don't think the rivers would be a good choice right now. As stated the water levels are pretty high and there would also be quite a bit of debris from the storms. I've also noticed a lot of trees that have been uprooted from all the wind and trees bent way over from all the wet snow

i was at a dedham stretch but it was weeks ago. right when stuff started melting which was why the current was ripping. it might have been that specific stretch but it seemed low. i guess if it was definitely high....not to self, don't go to that section again hahaa
