i was out last night for a few hours after work and noticed the water is still super warm in the north shore. i was hoping for some browns but it ended up being a bass blitz on topwater. still pretty aggressive feeding on top. not complaining at all.

you trout guys think the water is still too warm for them to come in a little closer to shore?

depends on the body of water. Brown trout like warmer waters, almost as warm as bass.

Last sunday at Walden pond, there were rainbows cruising the shallows in groups of 3/4 all day, couldn't seem to get them to take anything. Ended up catching some out deeper, in about 25-30ft of water on floated night crawlers and powerbait.
