sadly, i don't think wallum is the best place to beat the heaviest bag this year. last year's weights were all low and i think the place has a lot of 1-2.5 lb "clones."

North pond is the final topper, that place can def beat the current heavy bag.

I was looking at all the reports and the last 2 tourneys there. Nothing jumps out that says its capable of putting out a 20+ lb bag

well geez Rich its not a guarantee or anything. There are huge fish in there just ask Valps. No one who ever fished there would be surprised to see a 20 plus bag come in.

yeah north pond does have some giants. 5s and 6s. that time of year should be good too. it's not a place where you'll always see a lot of big bags, but i wouldn't be surprised if someone came in with a heavy one either.

Oh I know that. I just usually see some great reports from places that put out big bags. Hopefully it will be "on" the day we are there. I'd like to see a big bag weighed in at the final cartopper. I've only fished it once before and I just had an average day.
