So whenever I use a plastic worm, I always rig a 4 inch stick worm wacky style. I'm just wondering what other sizes people use while wacky fishing or what other worms because ive really only used the 4 inch stick worm.

Thanks

4's a good size, you could probably go up to 6. The Yum Dinger is a good wacky rig worm, I have them in a 4 inch. There's a lot of wacky rig-specific designed plastics out there, like the Havoc moneymaker designed by Brandon Palaniuk. Those are all pretty good.

I use Gamakatsu fluorescent colored #6 walleye octopus hooks for wacky style fishing. I use YO-Zuri smoke colored 10 pound test line.
The hooks come in a variety of colors like orange, green, white, red, purple etc., I also use Gamakatsu #6 octopus regular hooks. I found that the Yo-Zuri line works the best out of all the different lines i have tried. Got a 5lb 5 oz Largemouth two weeks ago on a Gamakatsu fluorescent green octopus walleye hook with a 4" green and red laminate senko.

I use a 1/0 circle or octopus hook. If I can get the hook in red color I always do. Seems to help.

Yum makes good stick worms and they're a lot cheaper than the Yamamottos. I always toss a 6'' because I feel I can get a longer cast with it and it sinks a little quicker.

Also when in doubt go with a black or blue colored worm. Can't go wrong.

SALTY STICKS OF DEATH! Yamamoto's seem to work best. If the bite is extremely tough then go with the 4inch. That's what Stratos throws exclusively !! Black for dark water and green pumpkin for clear water? The red shad (black/red) works well in both clear and dark waters.

They sell some weights at Bass pro that work good for wacky style if you want to go deeper and have a faster fall rate.

big bite baits kickass. 1.49 each. they smell and are salted!

screw garys to expesnive when i can by the same stick worm for cheaper.

garys fly off the hook to easy as well.

You seem to know an awful lot about size and color selection there James.
