Grabbed a Lews Speed Spool for $99. Absolutely awesome reel for the money. It was a toss up between the Lews and an Abu ProMax.
Lews reels get good reviews all over the internet. Great suggestion right in his price range

i got a black max combo. im still new to bait casting. 80bucks
great reel for a begginer. the one problem i have is that the spool fell into the water after i snapped my line in a tree. couldnt get it back. but the was 1 of 2 i own.
