I live in Norwood and am new to the site and I was wondering if anyone had ever fished any good places in that area

A suggestion to help you now and in the future:

1. look on Google maps to identify a few places that look interesting to you.

2. look under the Find Trips tab to see if there is a MAFF page about that location and if anybody has posted trips to that location. Chances are they have. Also, if you scroll down to the bottom of a trip you will see a listing of nearby locations that others have posted about.

3. If you have further questions about that location such as 'Where is the launch site?' or 'Is this a good location for shore fishing?' you can post those to the forum and expect responses from those in the know.

I live in Westwood and can help you out, but please do a little leg work first and then come back with some specific questions so I can provide actionable responses.

I have been to Buck master in Westwood and it was pretty good fishing. I caught a few bass on spinnerbaits and a few sunfish on night crawlers. Thank u for your help

yeah definitely keep fishing buckmaster, its a great pond for numbers especially. in the past 3 years my biggest fish from there was 5lb 9oz. and have also caught a 5lb 5oz and a 4lb 4oz. there are big ones in there! if you can get a boat in there it will help out a great deal, even a canoe/kayak its not that big anyway.

also you can shorefish (or a boat) ellis pond, or shorefish new pond (willet) down the road from buckys but ive never had a good day there. New pond you must be a member to put a boat in. there is a small access by st timothys but its pretty poor right now since the water is high. any questions just pm me.
