Targeting eels

Never caught one how do I go about catching one,and how do I handle one if I catch, thanx tight lines

Haven't seen one other boat on the way to the cape come on people a little rain scoring you away

I would think most of boat is already at cape and just need to drive down the cape to go fish.

If you want to chase for eels, (saltwater) go to any jetty and look around for small spots in jetty that hold saltwater. Eels tend to hang in there. use small hook with seaworm or small piece of squids then toss front eels. Other choice is going to marsh and wader around until you see eels swim around, grab it with net.

(Freshwater) I have absolute no idea how to target them, I always got lucky to hook up several monster size eels during nighttime toward early light.

go to any river or lake that has em use some cut bait or night crawler on the bottom and youll catch plenty of eels have fun getting a grip on em though
