That's a serious fish! Congrats on the chunk. And it was really smart to include shots of the scale to avoid the predictable weight controversy Very Happy

No in one day. Yesterday and today. I only got one bite today in 3-4 hours fishing. It was a big bite, 5LB+smallie.

yea, I am sick and tired of to hear everyone saying catch 5LB+. LOL, I know so, so, so many times they looks like a 5LB, only failed to register on the digital scale.

I've never seen those Devil Spears, how do you even fish something like that? Looks interesting.

Dicks, BPS sells it. Some times Sports Authority, Kmart, Walmart carry it as well. Cheap bait designed for flipping. The body is thick. I use knife to open a slot on the back so it is easier to punctuate when use it on shakyhead. Heavier shakyhead needed. You can use it on Charter bait as well, rig it vertically.
