Elite 5 dsi

just got this new fishfinder for christmas from my girlfriend got down scanning imaging nvr used it before but im going crazy waiting to use it. anyone have one or can tell me a little more about the DSI

Turn off fish id.

Good units. I used one on my old Javelin.

I have a Mark 5 but i don not have the downscanning but it is a good unit easy to use and nice screen for viewing,good amout of pixels

I had a humminbird with side scan and down imaging. Great for looking at structure and thats about it. More then likely u will not be able to see fish on the down scan or side scan image which is contrary to what it advertises. I bought it for finding schools or walleye and perch and it was horrible. I used the normal sonar most of the time. I sold it and bought an elite 5 with gps not dsi
