There should be a reality tv show based on MAFF tourneys and the guys involved. Why you ask? Why not a tv show on a bass club? Well I'll tell you why. Because we hate bass clubs (not really but we hate the idea of a lot of rules. Plus it adds to the drama) . The array of characters that we have here just covers the whole spectrum. There's really too many to even detail. If people think Charlie Moore (I like him personally) is entertainment then we/I bring that type of entertainment to the table. Wanna learn something? Sh*t, MAFF guys smoke away more knowledge than some fisherman ever gain. We need a pitch man. If Junior Seau (RIP) can have a show then Why not us?
I'm sure that if someone took the time to tape, edit, and produce a pilot, you could send it in to a local outdoor television channel like NESN or CSN and see what happens. You have to figure, they air lots of TV shows that follow professional tournament trails like BASS, FLW, etc. Why not a series that focuses on the amatuer bass fisherman who fishes for the fun and passion of it rather than than money and the fame?
A good first step is to speak to the people who run your local citiy's Local Access TV and ask them if they could help you film, edit, and air your tape on the air(I believe I remember hearing Charlie Moore say this is how he started, the guy used to be a landscaper before he was a BASS angler and a TV personality)
I believe that as long as the show would have the potential to get and keep peoples attention and give them a reason to keep tuning in, then your have a successful idea.

That would be a show I'd watch. I've received better advice on here than I taken from any of the shows I've see on TV. Maybe because there was specific mention of certain bodies of water & how to fish them. Plus there have been questions asked on this site that get more feedback from several members compared to just one guy who won a few tournaments and then got a tv show.
