I just called & Both ramps are open since 4/1/12 and the army corps say they will remain open unless something drastic changes.
GREAT to know Jay !Thanks man ...I'd like to help out a little here too if I may...if there are any "toppers" that'll be attending this one...'you' can "cheat" a little by dropping in on Champeaux Rd/Rt 148...I consider it a hidden gem over there...nice little parking area and what not...it would require a jaunt a bit south back down to the BIG BOAT launch, but, parking being what it is over on the main side it might be beneficial to some of you guys. . .it's referred to as Champeaux Rd Fishing Area...and fishing on the north side of the bridge is pretty good...even for lan'lubbers like myself . . .'hope this helps someone out. . .
