Hey guys, i've been trying to find a way to Turtle Rock, I'm not even sure if i'm trying to get to the right one. I'm trying to get to the rock you can see if you're driving past Spot on 93 north, you have to turn your head around to see it. Is there an easy way to get to that spot without an hour hike? Thanks for any info!

closest parking is at the skating rink I believe. Still a little hike. You can probably hike around the whole lake in hour though.

Awesome, thank you very much. I'll have to give it a shot once the weather warms up a little more. I hear the LM are all over the place there.

like Volume said go to the skating rink parking lot. Walk on the backside of the small pond until you get to a fire road path. take the left at the path and follow it all the way to Turtle rock. Its actually named Pickerel rock. Its very deep and plenty of smallies as well. Personally I have never had any luck over there at all.

Hit up Spot Pond yesterday (2nd time there this year). My first time there it was still half frozen, didn't get any bites.

As for yesterday, I struggled until I went deep.

Threw a 1/2 oz hack attack jig out toward to the middle to about 30 feet deep. My first cast with the jig I got a nice chunker... weighed in at 2 lbs. first Spot Pond catch of the year for me.

Check out my last tweeter post for pic and details if you'd like.
