Lews are solid. I have a bb1 speed spool and a bb1 speed spool pro. Both are great. I got them both on eBay and saved a bunch of dough.
I have a few reels, tatula 100, abu black max and the lews bb1, if you're left handed you can find them cheaper than right hand. I'm right handed but my dad thankfully taught me to use my dominant hand to hold the rod for more leverage. (I think it's ridiculous to be switching hands IMO.) bottom line is, the bb1 right now is 129 at Tw and I love it. It's really smooth, light and solid reel.
