Kayak road trip (SOUTH OF BOSTON)

after reading a post of a member heading up to ME, that inspired me to go camping so i called a buddy of mine and hes down. so, we are looking to go SOUTH, up to NC. the thing is, we arent very familiar with rivers/lakes.

preferably camping. any suggestion will be much appreciated.

I saw a fishing show with a guy who tags along on peoples' boats all over the country. They bring a camera crew along and fish someone's honey hole. Point being, there was an episode in Virginia, I believe it was the Potomac River... Remarkable Striper and Catfishing... Virginia isn't a bad ride.

CT river, Western MA, is a good start.

You slay bass, I'll give you that... Stripers are bass. There should be white bass and rock bass in that river. I'm sure there's LMs, and maybe some smallies.
