I've been fishing this pond and catching a ton on 2-4 pound bass. Their mouths seem smaller or is it just me lol

Thats a good sign. Means they eat well. Their mouth doesn't outgrow their body.

Easy tell large mouth has a black verticle linne down length of body a smallie has sort of horrizontal almost stripes down its body a little like a yellow perch just not as defined.

You can compare my two monster bass on my hand. on my right hand is largemouth bass. while my left hand is holding smallmouth bass. both of them is 5 pounds each. Just wanted to show you how different they looked. Good question to ask!
