10 boats came out to compete on Big Sandy pond in Plymouth. The wind was already steady as we launched and by 10 or 11 it was blowing 30mph+. The place had whitecaps and rollers. Guys stuck with it and toughed it out and at the weigh in most teams weighed in fish .There were 5 limits and 2 boats with 4 fish. When all was said and done team Stratos was the 1st place team with 11lbs 3 oz, Team LHPSND came in a close 2nd with 10lbs 14oz and new comers Mike and Jeff came in a close 3rd with 10lbs 5 oz. Another new team, Fat Bitches had 5 fish for 9lbs. team Stratos also had Lunker with a 4lber.

Thanks everyone for coming out and sticking with it under BRUTALLY WINDY conditions. The next event is not for another month On June 1st ( trying to avoid the spawn) on Dark Brook Res. In Auburn.

On another note. I made a mistake at today's weigh in/pay out. I thought we only had 9 boats when in fact we had 10. A boat showed up at the last minute and I collected their money without checking them off my list as paid, then they pulled and left early. I only paid out 2 places when I should have paid out 3. I will fix this and pay out 3rd place to team Mike and Jeff. They earned $67 for 3rd place. I will be in touch asap to get you your winnings. 1st place must return $60 and 2nd place $7
My apologies.

Hey guys just want to express my appreciation for the help getting the boat back into the back of my truck as we wouldn't have been able to move it. As for the trailer I ended up taking it apart where I extended it and put it on top of the boat. All in all we still had a blast fishing with you guys even though I need to build a new trailer but hey what can you do. Rich I still have your wheel chuck, I can either bring it to the next topper or bring it to your house let me know. Thanks again boys!

No pics. I forgot my camara. There were a bunch of smallies caught. 5 over 5 had 2 nice ones, I know we had 4 of them but culled them out for LM throughout the day. I believe hookset and another team had a couple in their bags as well.

John, glad you were able to get home ok. As far as the wheel chuck goes, I can grab it at the next event.

Thanks again to everyone for coming out. Great seeing the familiar faces and to meet some new guys . Thats what makes these tournys fun.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Dark Brooke. This BOW is a bit bigger so we have room for 12 boats for this one. Hope to see it fill up.

So update on my truck. What happened was my truck read park but the bracket under the dash that holds the linkage in the lock position somehow is loose upon investigation today. Called ford and asked them why this isn't a recall as this is extremely dangerous. There response to me was" although there had been complaints about this in the past, there hasn't been enough to justify a recall." My response was " next trucks you make you might want to think about spending 2$ on some loctite instead of letting someone destroy there f"&@ing boat trailer". There trailer has been cut apart and will be welded in time for dark brook! See you there boys!
