smallies

what are the smallies bitting this time of year??

im not a very good smallie fisheremen! my first trip of the season fishing for them!

im headed to my favorite smallie spot!! i thinking tube jigs and cranks along drop offs!! they are still in prespawn mode

Jerkbaits. I've been getting 'em for the past few weeks at the Chu on jerkbaits. Just got back from a 3 hr trip there and got 5 smallies all over 3 pound on Lucky Craft Slender Pointer. Expensive but effective!

Don't have to be the pricey kind they hit the cheap ones too. Caught a 3.50 smallie on 6 in suspending perch rapala the other wk.
