After the strong showings at Ponkapoag, we move on to the Charles River in Waltham.

Entry fee: $20
Payout: $120 first place, $60 second place, $20 third place, $20 lunker bass (assuming 12 participants)

The Charles can be tough man, especially because it'll most likely be spawning. We shall see though

I like that it's on the early season schedule before that snotty black algae has had a chance to take over.

I say we do a side pot for whoever catches a dead body.

Do people go to tournaments to watch? I don't have a kayak, or know anything about tournaments--but I think I'd learn a thing or two from watching. And Waltham is actually within biking distance.
