Carp species help

Ive caught large carp before never seen one this small im a little confused by the head shape and color is it a carp my daughter hooked it today in little river with a worm my friend said it is a freshwater sucker fish i say carp maybe grass carp thats the closest looking species i could find to that . Any info will be great thanks.

suckers can get 8 lbs Indian Lake has both Carp and Suckers they look close, do you have a pic?

metallicakid4187 - this is definitely fallfish. Not carp or sucker. This fish's mouth gave it away along with colors too. Nice catch!

Thank you very much i was going crazy trying to find pictures of carp or sucker fish with them colors never heard of them do you know if they are rare to catch i have been fishing in this river since i was my daughters age she is 5 and is the one holding the fish im 27. Ive only caught sunfish couple bass and trout cause they stock it and catfish never seen a fallfish in my life it was caught yesterday in haverhill mass. Thanks again.
