which river is open or not?

Do anyone know if stillwater or swift river will be open water at next week? Just want to target big trouts.

Some parts of the swift may .. Its hit or miss !! I can go by and check this weekend !!!

Broosky - I have my doubts on being frozen in stillwater.. but quinixqet river (whatever that spell is.. I forget. lol) Should be open due to deep moving water.

troutfreak - yes, please let me know if swift river is open up.. it is my favorite time of year when ice is open in the river.. I am king when it comes to that moment.. while rest of year, I'm become rookie for until fall run.. LOL

Swift is open. I was there two weeks ago between the y pool and route 9 bridge (fly fishing and catch & release only) and all the way down past the hatchery.

The Nashua river is almost always open in most parts.

Thank for advice but that place is way too far and way out from where I will be driving back to South shore.
