how do you tell the diffence between weeds and bait.
on my fish finder the fish are shapes of fish.
i tweak the settings and only use raw returns, no icons. it's easier to tell with an HD color finder since even fish blending on the bottom will show a different color return. weeds often show up as clumps and it's usually pretty obvious just by the way it looks.
Maybe upgrade? Hmmmmm?
I just bought this last spring. So I want some use out of it.
I'm hitting that pond where I marked all fish deep, this Sunday.
I thinkin I'm bringing large shiners and drop then into the abyss.
Also going to try cranking these fish
