you guys find tubes to be productive during the fall? i typically fish a 3-4 inch tube with a 1/8 oz. jig head in calm water. summer was great for me almost exclusively fishing tubes. not so much just recently.

i've read that jerkbaits tend to be pretty productive when the water starts changing in the fall. haven't taken them out of the bag much.

Yeah, they will still hit tube baits, plastic will always catch fish Exclamation The jerkbait bite doesn't really turn on until those water temps. get into the 50's. Calico and white perch will smack them now though Exclamation Laughing

I've had luck this fall with Tubes in the Charles. I can't say I've landed any lunkers on them, but they produce when the bass are picky. I've got a couple good SMBs letting the tube sink and then drag it along the bottom with the occasional bounce.
