Hey my name is Derek, I have 10 ft jon boat that I just got this year and trying to decide where to go tomorrow to catch big bass 5lbs plus. I have been to martins pond already this year with not much success. Any help would be great on where to find the big ones! I am thinking about trying to go to pillings pond in lynfield.

Throw big baits in places that are none for being slow fisheries. Martins and Fosters are both solid bets though.

Thanks alot any other recommendations of places that may be easier to get to?

Don't be greedy. Most people don't share spots. Check out google maps. It's a good way to find places. Also the trips on this forum.

Hey don't blow up my spot.

Hmmm. Was looking at the put in at Fosters on google earth. Where is the parking ? At the dam there are 2 no parking signs and a chain across where it look like some spots. Nothing really on the road.. Might go there today, but don't want to get towed.....

Across the street from the dam there are a couple of spots. Also it's legal to park on carter lane. I asked a cop. I've been there a million times and never had a problem.

Big fish are everywhere, even in small ponds.

I know a place down in Chatham, it's a super-tiny pond next to a much bigger pond, and it produces for me multiple bass over 5 pounds nearly every time I go out there. I mean, this place is like five acres, maybe six or seven—it's tiny!

But there are big fish there.
