If I mount my transducer to my TM is there any down side to it not always being straight? Say I'm drifting along without moving the motor, I need to change directions so I spin my motor. Does this screw with downscan algorithms or anything?
I'm fairly certian it won't f*** with classic sonar, as all that is displayed is a histogram of what was under the unit. I'm concerned that there might be some math with downscan that depends on the unit always being oriented the same way.
