Towing Question

I just bought a 20 footer bass boat.

I am planning get a 2016 Toyota Tacoma to tow it. The new Tacoma towing capacity is 6800 LB.

What do you think? Can be done fairly easy?

You shouldn't have a problem on the highway.Ken,my father in law,always uses 4wd when he pulls his boat out from the ramp at the Q .That makes things allot easier.His boat is much heavier than mine.I don't know If your new rig has 4wd,but that seems to help... Get the towing package if it is offered. Not sure what it includes on that make, but it's usually tranny cooler, oil cooler, and pre rigged for trailer lights/brakes. Helps in the long run.

The Tacoma 4X4 V6 Sports Edition comes with the towing package.

. Go with a v8 vehicle to tow a 20 footer , the gas mileage in tow is virtually the same and the extra power is needed and nice to have .

plus I wouldn't think that you would want everyone with real trucks passing you on the highway. Lol

Willie, You know my opinion but I will say it again! get a white tundra to pull that new white RangerZ520. Post a picture of that beauty!

The two (8 inch bow, 10 inch console) Onix SI touch screen are networked. I also bought an addition Onix 10 CI dedicate standalone just for the 360. I will ram mount on the bow. I got the transducer. The main unit is on the way should be here next week.

Umm we could use a jealous button on this one so I can repeatedly hit it everytime I see this. Congrats on making a dream reality!

I'm done this year. The boat is all shrink wrapped and winterized.

you had the boat shrink wrapped, Do you have a garage? Letting such a beautiful boat sit outside would be a shame ,even if it's shrink wrapped. Also the boat is all white so when u start using it make sure u wipe and rinse it down below the water line after every outing because the boat will become stained from the lake water .
