The powerdrive v2 55 lb thrust motor has been acquired. I got the deal of the century. I had to get the 54 in shaft to get the deal and did so in confidence that my man Damon could trim it down for me. I'm just waiting on the quick release bracket. Beaver Fever should be getting this boat real soon. My excitement is barley containable

It's supposed to. I didn't look at the prop that closely. I just slid it out of the box to make sure everything was there and then slid it back for easy transport. I'll look when I get home though. You should contact Minn Kota. As far as I know all the PD's are supposed to come with it As an afterthought I'll add that I bought the weedless wedge for my other motors and they look the same as the original props. The differences are slight


I went on Minn Kota's website and it says the weedless wedge comes on select models and the power prop comes on select models. I hope I got the weedless wedge because that prop is awesome. If I didn't, then I'm getting one.

It's weird because they describe the power prop as weedless but then have a second prop called a weedless wedge. Only time will tell. I'll use whichever one I have but reserve the right to change it.

yes, it comes with a weedless wedge prop II. i actually asked the question before whether or not i could swap it with a power prop. minn kota says a power prop isn't compatible with the motor but the prop nut size etc. all match up. i want 1 of each to be able to switch based on the place i'm fishing. that is if the power prop will make a speed difference in open water. it doesn't seem like it actually would based on the similar 2 blade design.

I believe that's the one, looks like a normal prop but claims its weedless; looks like the one on mine. So I guess I'll have to try it out first to see

yeah i'm not sure how weedless it will be in the thick stuff. minn kota makes a mean weedless wedge though. you''ll only get hung up when the weeds wrap around the shaft (key up shawn comment).

You said shaft. LOL I'm ordering a weedless wedge asap. I remember the first one I bought. I put it on my endura 30 and not only did it go through everything but seemed faster

i want to make it back out to the shed to learn and help out. especially learn about the wiring stuff.
