I'm looking forward to throwing them but am not sure how many lakes I fish they will actually be useful at. I haven't really gotten on too many good deep cranking bites in the northeast. Its a much better technique down south.

I caught fish at Billington using a deep diving fat free shad. Around 17 feet. Another tourney (I can't remember the name of the pond) I got one on a DT 16 and I've got fish at horn pond too on the fat free shad. Oh ya, Lower mystic with the DT20. They're there. I'm really new to deep cranking too. I just started throwing them at the end of last season.

Deep divers definitely catch fish, don't get me wrong. Ive had success on them up here and so have my friends but never a really consistent bite or pattern like you see with other baits during certain times of the year. But these WILL catch BIGUNS and that's all that matters at the end of the day!

excellent

I thought so!

OK, now I have to save my 1000th point for a good post, so I have to choose wisely. But "old school" Al Bundy was definitely worth number 999!

The tournament at east monponsett this year my whole limit was caught on a strike king Deep diving crank and we would of done well if my partner didnt decide to drop one back in at the weigh in haha
