No. Plymouth is the closest area with fishable SM populations

You can try South Watuppa pond in fall river. I just my caught first one there a week ago while jigging a gulp minnow

No fishable population but every once and a while one is caught that finds its way in from The res across the street

Yes. NO boats or wading allowed in Assawamsette.

if you really want smallies Plymouth is the place. Lots of ponds there have them . The one place that I know that has them thats a little further north is Stetson pond in Pembroke.

No smallies in Darby. Closest best bet ( and prob. your best bet in Plymouth is/are Little south and Great South. Boot pond right next to those 2 also has them but in smaller numbers.

Don't forget Great Herring Pond off exit 2. It's a BIG chunk of water for a kayak, but worth it. Beaucoup smallies there.

Don't get nasty with me

There has to be better smallie ponds than Little South and Great South! I don't find either one of them to be very productive. I sometimes wonder if there are any fish in Little South.
