Tough day. Icey morning. No trolling mortor, no depth finder, no guide. All I have is an anchor. Total 10 bites, lost 3. Jerkbait and dropshot are the baits for the day. This hot one came on dropshot. The rest are 18-15 inches.

Great job on the smallies! Must of been a hell of a fight.
I may be heading there next weekend.
What depth did you get them?
Are they heading in for spawn yet?

Not there yet. The temp is about 50 felt in my hand. All fish came close from the shore with some irregularity feature. It was tough fishing. My anchor rope is 20 feet. So, all I knew was less than 20 feet or greater than 20 feet. Pulled anchor up saw mud on it, it was time to change place. Total blind fishing.

You're amazing to go there with just an anchor and bag a pig smallie. I'm in awe right now. You might be the smallie whisperer
