Quinsig shore access?

I live nearby, and would love to be able to briefly cast a line in and try to maintain my sanity during finals, but seem to only see houses and docks on the shoreline. Is there any relatively quick access? I haven't fished much freshwater, so any advice would be of great help.

there is also a raw sewerage problem there now from a construction accident, i believe ....old faith road is a dead end you fish at , right of rt 9 beind apartment complex, a few others too....look on mapquest for quinsig and check out the circles , drives , a lot have spots to get to
