Heading there tomorrow and renting a boat. Weather looks like its going to hold off till the afternoon and little to no wind. Can anyone give me some tips on fishing lakers on the open water? Last time I went we ended up with one smallmouth 5 lbs and some small large mouth any help would be great on open water lakers thanks

Troll deep...Couple of Friends use big shinners and float them off the bottom. Its just like at the CHU, if you got perch or Kivas wing them out there. Still lokking for that Laker Pin, Great luck to you and hope the weather holds, today would be a great day for Lakers with the drizzle and clouds

Yup just looking for that check off on my list should be a good day tomorrow planning on going right when they open for boat rentals till 7 at night
