once again, i appreciate all of the input. when i got my roofrack and bars, they said the suggested load capacity was 130 lbs. so i've been mindful of that. i know this isn't an exact number but i'm making sure to keep that in mind for sure. the good news is that the boat is a lot lower than my old one. i've driven with it already (not modified) and it was much better.
