now that spring is here.

springs here!! Now we enter our rainy season. witch brings up my question.. Whats the best rain gear out there. i had a cheep nylon coleman set for the last 5 yrs. and it keep me dry through a 4 hr down pour. as soon as i sprayed it with some waterprofing it was trashed Im looking for comfort & dourability under a $100. O ya and i dont want to look like the gortens fisherman.... tnks guys

For under 100$ there is not much. Maybe look into Frog Toggs.

Are they waterproof? I got a Field & Stream rain suit 2 years ago and after the first season, it was junk!

I bought Frog Toggs jacket and jump pants combo in medium size for $15 last black Friday sales. The review is very good. The jacket is OK size, the jump pants is for someone in 300LB weight, way too big and too long. But, for the price, it is OK. I leave on the boat for emergency use.
