Hello - New to this site, looks like a great resource.

New to Sudbury and looking to get my 4yr old son out for some bluegill/crappie shore fishing. We lived right by Jamaica Pond so he is used to being able to toss a line in and usually get something.

Any advice on some ponds where he might be able to fish for some bluegill while I try for something a little bigger?

I tried White's pond, but need the yak for that. Was thinking I need to explore some shore fishing on the Sudbury/Concord River.

Thanks!

Always thought Walden was too packed with tourists, but would be worth a shot.

Almost bought a house near Heards Pond...if there are fish there, I am going to pissed we decided against it...lol

Thanks Stratos. Dug Pond in Natick....an old colleague told me he used to go fishing behind a high school in the framingham area.

Do you fish from the beach at Dugs or is it too packed with townies and highschool kids?

Its behind the football field at Natick High. There is a small boat ramp and some shoreline access right there. There are other locations around the pond as well. I have never shore fished. I have been out in my Crawdad a couple times. Google map Windsor ave, Natick
