Its Illegal to transport and stock fish without a permit to do so .. Also why upset the natural balance of a stream. If the brook trout spawn there don't mess with it .There are too few natural spawning areas left .

Brookies are less tolerant to changes in temperature, pH, and pollution than rainbows. If you have a legit brook trout stream consider it a gem and don't mess with it.

up in nh where i live every brook has a good brook trout population. There are probably over 14 brook in one town and they don't connect but have some wild brookies
